Lesson Four - Inviting Friends and Family

LESSON: 
To find people to include in your upcoming Challenge Group, start with the people closest to you! Initially, they are going to be the most willing to trust you and try what you have to offer, even if it's just because they love and want to support you. It is important to not prejudge anyone—meaning don't think you understand their circumstances so well that you decide for them if they'd be interested in being in your Group—give them the chance to make that decision for themselves.

You created your initial Contact List of friends and family before you started this training. Revisit it again and see if you can add any names to the list you may have prejudged (use the Memory Jogger). 

With your list ready, now for the fun part—time to talk to people! You've shared your story on social media and connected with a few people by sharing your why with them, so your friends and family are aware that you are a new Team Beachbody Coach. Now, let's invite them to join you in your first Challenge Group! (If you are a coach in your first few months, you can talk to your sponsor about being an "apprentice" in their next challenge group. So you'll invite your challengers along beside you in your coach's group. That way you get used to the process and start earning commissions but you don't have all the pressure of leading a group solo!)

Don't overcomplicate this step, keep it simple and be yourself! Let your friends and family know that you are looking for some great Success Stories to help launch your coaching business and that you really want to help them. Share your story with them and then ASK THEM TO JOIN YOU in your Challenge Group.

Example: [after you share your story in a separate post] "You can see I'm really excited about coaching and I can't wait to start helping people. My first focus is to help those closest to me, and I've got a spot set aside for you. I'd love for you to join my Challenge Group, and your positive experience in the Group would be a great help to me as I get my coaching business started. Can I send you some information about the Group?"

Another option: 
"Oh my gosh! I'm so excited because I just finished my first challenge and _______(enter your own transformation or results story)____.  My coach has told me that I can invite THREE people to come with me and be my accountability buddies in her next challenge group and that she'll save three spots for my friends! I had such a great time last month that I'm pumped to commit for another month and I'd love to have you there alongside me! Let me know if you're interested and I can show you the programs you can pick from. But let me know soon! I need to pick my three people by _____!"

There are many mediums you can use to invite them to your Group, but remember the most impactful way is face-to-face or voice-to-voice. Of course, this isn't always timely, so the next best thing is the email, then social media.
   
ACTION STEPS:

1. Share with the challenge group what flavor of Shakeology you had today and your workout
2. Share in the team page how many people you’re going to invite to the Challenge Group this week
3. Post your upcoming Challenge Group on your social media page and tag your sponsor in the post
